Perfect for a desktop or mantel, this beautiful Prairie-style clock features a one-piece solid wood body, textured brass dial plate, and a lovely Stickley origin story! The back features the Stickley shop mark medallion and burned-in Stickley logo, and a removeable panel gives access to the quartz-movement dial and AA battery (included). Made in solid oak with Onondaga stain. Made in Manlius, NY.
FROM THE ARCHIVES! The Prairie Bracket Clock began in 1994 as a home woodworking project by longtime Stickley designer Bill DeBlaay. He was pleased with the results and presented his work to CEO Alfred Audi on April 11, which happened to be Mr. Audi's birthday. Both were excited by this accidental birthday gift's potential as an accessory item, so it was launched as part of the Mission Collection. Nearly 7000 clocks were sold!
