Our Saranac Side Chair is crafted with a wide, comfortable curved seat upholstered in a stain-resistant fabric, and we've eliminated any knots in its frame that could catch on clothing. The Saranac Collection is a beautiful example of the sustainable use of timber, crafted from rustic offcuts of black walnut. Unpredictable grain patterns and color, knots and burls, splits, worm holes, and even linear ruts left by a hollow stem (\"pith\") are among the qualities that are unique from one Saranac piece to the next.
