The Saranac 90-inch Sofa places a clean, comfortable body on an exposed base of rustic black walnut. Three loose seat and back cushions are enclosed by thick sewn-in border pillows alongside the arms, and behind the sofa, square rear legs rise up to support the piece's subtly angled back.  Unpredictable grain patterns and color, knots and burls, splits, worm holes, and even linear ruts left by a hollow stem (\"pith\") are among the qualities that are unique from one Saranac piece to the next.
